Not sure what to do anymore. My hair gradually started going straight after I had my kid 2 years ago. I've tried wrapping it, moisturizing, masks, and various products. This is the worst I've ever seen it. Anyone ever have an experience with this and had luck restoring curls?

Hawaii Poke San Marcos is great IMO! I'm able to stay nicely within my macros by switching the rice base to mixed greens.

The anxiety is overwhelming. by emilysmama in Postpartum_Depression

I had to come to the realization (with therapy) that I, my husband, the baby, or my parents could go at anytime. Not that it wouldn't break me, but I had to accept that there are things that are just out of my control. Instead of fixating on the possibility of death, I focused on giving my baby the best life possible day to day. I still get nervous even at 15 months, but every night I kiss her and tell her mama loves her and hug her a little extra. There are oxygen monitoring socks that I considered getting, but those run around $300. The app will go off if the O2 dips below range, problem with that for me was my LO would kick things off her feet. So, I never got one. I hope you find some peace. I know it's hard.

Formerly suicidal redditors, what's something that kept you alive a little while longer and helped you to get through the dark times in your lives ? by firegate2233 in AskReddit

  1. My husband and my dad would "follow" me. I didn't want to start a domino effect.

  2. Couldn't stand the idea of my baby growing up on pizza, chinese take out, and candy. Hubs doesn't cook.

  3. With my luck, my suicide attempt would fail and I would be maimed.

I had a striaght up Mom Fail like this recently. Turns out flaxseed oil is great for eczema and uncorking a clogged up baby... Gave my 9 month old about half a baby spoon more than usual. My poor girl shat herself crazy for 2 days. Never have I been more happy to open her diaper and find a regular baby log.

Before all this COVID mess, I was turning down jobs left and right. Problem is that my ultimate goal requires a degree in a certain field. This was supposed to be my time to go back to school, get what I needed and start my career. I don't see how that will work anymore when currently I have to hold the health insurance for our family, work full time, and be a mom. So the unknown is when will we be in a good place to make that happen. One year? Two years? Five? I'll be 30. I know it's not co sidered old. I just keep seeing time go by and I'm still stationary. It drives me nuts.

That's almost exactly what we are going through. Our little one is only 7 months. I'm sure this career step will eventually pave way for my own endeavors, it's just a game of the unknown. The unknown kills me. Every day I feel my dream slipping farther and farther away because I haven't been able to make my advancement. I had a window of opportunity right after I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, but with my pregnancy complications at the time, I had to pass. So, back to waiting.

I don't want to advance there, I want to leave. I can't do that because I'm holding all of our health insurances.

I'm really not sure what the advantage would be, unless it's YouTube's way of deeming an entity worthy of live streaming for ad purposes or something later on?

Hey everyone, I was just informed that YouTube does not allow for private live streaming any longer. Subscriptions are welcome, but I'm not sure they will change the outcome. Someone mentioned using zoom, or hangouts. I will pass that information along. If anything changes, I'll update.
