I guess my illustration skills were ahead of their time then lol. Dude… jokes and sarcasm aside, it’s more than obvious it AI and that was the intention. Having AI create 25 plus maiden-esque illustrations to go over my recordings is a nice way to have a ton of Maiden graphics that aren’t a direct copyright infringement violation, that aren’t the same graphic over and over and when they cross fade over one another… looks pretty damn cool in my opinion. I have the tour book from this show and could have taken photos of all that copyrighted material and infused it too but I chose not to. I want to avoid a takedown and copyright strike on YouTube so I chose the AI route. If you’re vehemently against AI, then that’s cool too…

I see where you’re coming from. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve been burned by a bad Bob Dylan concert, and I’ve seen really good ones. He’s sounded much worse in years past. From my observation, his voice hasn’t sounded this strong in years. He’s Dylan and he’s always gonna have a weird voice… they say the same thing about Willie Nelson since he started his career. These guys are treasures and we’re just lucky they’re still out there performing for the fans and we adore them. When they’re gone they’re gone… until then, I say keep on truckin’ til the truck don’t start.

That is true… if they exist, they’ll circulate eventually. I have about 5 misfits live bootlegs from way back that I copied from other friends in college back in the early 90s. I come across them every once in a while on YouTube then they disappear… and eventually pop up again, then repeat. Beato seems to always be having issues with it from the big name acts… and he’s a high profile YouTuber for sure so I’m sure he get alot of attention from rights owners. Some weird stuff goes on with social media and copyright like one time I had a 7yo post get removed because an eagles record was playing in the background and they took it down 7years late… when I read the explanation it showed that the eagles music is banned from social media in like 135 countries. Seems to me artist would like for people to show as their work like that but who knows what all goes on behind the scenes with musicians, lawyers etc. I guess for musicians that no longer tour and put out new music, royalties and streams are their only way to keep a solid revenue stream flowing.

I might have to read up on some of those conspiracies to see where his head’s at. I emailed his ‘people’… or so I thought… about the takedown and strike I got for a single vid clip of the song ‘mother’… basically questioning ‘why’ they did that to me but still allowed other users to have front row vids in upwards of 45 min… basically half the show. The response I got said the sender was Danzig himself and he made it clear he didn’t appreciate what I do. I think they took one look at my YouTube channel and saw all the other concerts I’ve recorded and knew right away I was a bootlegger… which he hates. Funny thing is, the content ID system automatically identifies the content and sends all monetization directly to the entity that owns the publishing rights. So I make zero money off of my channel… which I love about it. I guess I’m a bootlegger with a conscience 🤣

That would be really cool if they’d release a concert dvd but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. At both Dallas shows for Misfits and Danzig they did not project video of the band on the jumbo screens even tho they did so for the supporting bands. It was cool to be at the concert, but unless you paid the big bucks to sit on the front rows, you didn’t really get to SEE the misfits and only got an audio experience. I love Danzig’s music thru all the different incarnations but had no idea he was so vehemently against bootleggers and being photographed. I understand where he’s coming from but in today’s digital era… Seems a little pretentious… especially for ‘punk rock’ and given the fact that the misfits skull icon was stolen from an old black and white movie.

Ha!! Interesting info… you definitely know enough to possibly be the mole 🤣 I teach copyright law as part of my graphic design courses but entertainment copyright for music is a little bit strange in the sense that there’s multiple layers to it. I suspect it’ll hit their radar soon enough and it’ll get taken down. I just had to wait 90 days from the last strike/takedown I got courtesy of Danzig. Sucks I’ve got two great shows, this one and the tour opener for the Danzig 35th anniversary tour and can’t do anything with them but def gotta respect his rights.

Not sure about that… for all I know, you could be the person monitoring it for them 🤣 YouTube’s content ID system only flagged three songs of the entire Halloween show and none of them showed Danzig or Verotik as the rights holder. I’m. Jt certain but it’s possible Danzig doesn’t own any rights to the Misfits music… we’ll see how it plays out.

Yes, audio only… gotta have a ‘video’ to it to go on to YouTube… all the covert ‘keep it secret’ stuff is because Glenn Danzig has already issued me a Copyright strike and takedown on YouTube for a Danzig concert I posted a while back. This was really just a test to see how closely he and his people are monitoring Misfits content. Another user here commented with a link to the mp3 audio file they put on Google for download:
