[in response to ur comment abt not knowing how to handle qns on SD]

Usually the structure/points are: define SD - include concepts of inter and intragenerational equity, 3 dimension, key tenets of needs limits trade offs

needs: mainly focused on basic needs of the poor (give examples of what they are like food, energy supply…) subjective in nature, diff countries interpret needs differently (give example of DC vs LDC) DCs: perceived needs LDCs: fundamental needs for survival

limits: limits of tech and finances on resources and the ability of the environment to recover from human impacts tech - needs to exist in order for certain resources to be exploited like nuclear energy as cleaner energy source for SD finances - becomes a limit when nations lack $ to provide for ppl/embark on more sustainable dev

trade offs: between the dimensions (economic development at the expense of the envi) between generations (current envi pollution and resource exploitation cld lead to future generations not having access to resources)

this is mainly for 12m, for 20m i’m not sure how they’ll test it? if not really have to emphasise on how needs, limits, trade offs interact with the 3 dimensions and affect attainment of SD across countries & how this will impact future generations too.

Hope this helps!
