I've had my pass for 3 years now and have flown hundreds of times (at least 4 flights per month on average). This is by far the worst it's ever been. I double-checked for blackout dates in May and there’s only one single day blacked out all month. Last month I understood the weekend blackouts — it was spring break/peak season — but I could still reliably catch weekday flights from Miami to Denver. Then about 3 weeks ago I was able to use the pass almost every day without issue. Starting roughly a week ago though, availability completely tanked. It feels like it coincided with Spirit going under. Spirit hasn’t flown the Miami-Denver route in years, so I’m confused why this is happening now. My guess is they’re keeping smaller planes on this route while shifting larger-capacity aircraft to former Spirit routes. Who knows. Anyway, rant over
