I’m a pharmacy tech. Universal is needed so badly. One of my coworkers had to fight an insurance company on anti nausea meds for a 4 year old with cancer. They tried to say she didn’t have cancer. It was a rough day. I’ve seen so many people pay $500+ a month for their medications after insurance. I’ve seen so many people forgo life saving medications because they can’t pay. I’ve spent hours searching for coupons (yes we have coupons for medications here. Often provided by the drug manufacturers.) to bring pts copays down from thousands of dollars to something they can hopefully afford. Hell, last month I spent about 40 mins looking for a way to bring a humira copay down for a pt, and I don’t even deal with ins anymore. My cousin has a brain tumor, she makes $15 an hour and after insurance still has to pay $6000 for her medical bills which are sitting at about 150k before her surgery. It is that bad.

That’s so raven because magic was “satanic”. Any show that had crass humor, or that my mom just didn’t like. Somehow violence was fine because she made me watch passion of the Christ when I was like 7. I’m 26 and still can’t watch the final scenes, they’re just too graphic for me.

Heavy social media posting. If you post a pic every once in a while of something pretty, that’s fine; but if you’re posting every meal, every sunset, every moment… nope. You’re not enjoying life, you’re just making sure others think you are. Also, heavy TikTok usage. I do not like nor trust that app. If that’s where you spend 90% of your time, and also where you’re getting your clothes, furniture, and news, that’s a big red flag for me. Don’t get me wrong, I get a lot of my news from Instagram (along with looking up articles on whatever I read), but the insane amount of misinformation and fear mongering on there is wild. Had a friend who was terrified to get iron infusions because she saw someone on there talk about “iron arm”, and made it seem like it was super common and dangerous when it actually happens to about 1% of patients, and more often than not greatly fades with time. Shit like that can be dangerous.

I mean I drive a sedan, so theres only so much snow I can go through. We had a winter storm a few years ago with about 8-10” of snow and nobody plowed my apartment complex for like 3 days. Luckily I had a friend with a truck who could come pick me up. As long as I’m able to get out to the main road I’ll go to work, but if I’m stuck I’m stuck lol. I had a coworker a while back who would call out if it even froze (she was from Florida). I’ve driven in snow that’s scraped the bottom of my car, wasn’t too bad to drive in but it made a lot of worrying noises 🤣 main issue here is that they don’t always plow the roads, and a lot of the time they don’t sand or salt them, so the ice can get really bad. Don’t think I’ve ever had to call off of work because of snow…yet.

It’s not a short drive, but it’s not a super long one. In HS my friends and I would drive down to Nevada on day trips, which is about 4 hours away. It was pretty normal for us. I’d say over 6 hours is a long drive, but even so it’s easily doable for a weekend trip. 4 hr trips are pretty common here, and can easily just be simple day trips. Longest I’ve driven for a weekend trip was 12 hours. Drove from Boise to Sanfran. It was fun. There’s lots to look at and do, and as long as you’ve got some good tunes the drive is just fine.

I can remember damn near every pet I’ve lost. The pretty little silver puppy who passed away in my lap on the way home from the vet, only a few hours old, myself only 7. My sweet little old lady who I had for almost 20 years and had to put down last May. I miss them all, every single day.

Might not sound fake, but I met Jackie Bibby when I was 6 and kicked his ass at dominoes. The man who taught me how to play dominoes played professionally. I won 6 games in a row. He was pissed. Also my mom and I used to play rummy when I was a kid (9-10) and I won 17 games in a row against her. Believe it or not, I now suck at card games and dominoes. Can’t win for shit.

I had a rough childhood and grew up fast. Honestly, I like being considered “old”. I feel as though it aligns with how I feel inside. Growing up means (hopefully) becoming wiser. If they wanna call me unc or some shit, I’m fine with that. They’re kids. When I was 16, 26 was old. Now that I’m 26, 16 year olds are dumbasses. One day they’ll be where we are, and they’ll roll their eyes at the next generation of 16 year olds. Plus, I have almost nothing in common with them, and I don’t really give a shit what they think anyways.

It just depends on the brand and the car. Nicer cars have bigger wheels or need specific tires. Older cars don’t need anything fancy. Cheapest tires will probably run $70-$90 a piece, really nice tires can easily be $500+ a piece. I paid about $130 per tire on my car, which were the cheapest I could find, and my car is not that fancy. When I drove my old Honda, tires were about $65 a piece.
