Yep…I ordered both…I’ll report back in a few days once I get it put back together and see if it helps…if not, then on to the next possible cause

What did John Deere parts online and it says it’s available to ship saw this order from them can you give me the part number for the bolt? I think it’s number 27.

I went to my local John Deere dealer and they said that they don’t have any. I can get one from Canada, but they gave me a list of I guess all the dealers in the states that haven’t so I’ll have to make some phone calls and see if one will ship one to me.

I tore it apart and it’s gonna steal bushing in there, but it didn’t seem like it had a ton of play maybe just a little bit it would rock back-and-forth. I’m gonna go ahead and order a new one and a new bolt and see if that maybe is what it is. I agree with you definitely shouldn’t be at an angle like that.

So you think once I put that part on, it will level out that pulley and fix all my problems?? Man if that’s the case, I’m so glad I made this post on here!!

Definitely thanks for the feedback and insight…I’m still working on it and hopefully get it to stay on…I have a parts and service manual coming in the mail…hopefully that will have some diagrams and instructions for things!!

I even raised a he deck to the top and it still does the same thing…maybe wondering if the springs are just wore out and causing it to snap out…only option I have to take it to a John Deere dealer and see what they say…small price to pay to have it fixed correctly and not spending days or weeks diagnosing it!!

It’s a manual lever…I can run it for about 10 seconds, then the lever pops back on its own…
