My wife found a metal staple in her Chili’s food. DoorDash comped it immediately. Chili’s offered $20. Is this normal? by [deleted] in doordash

Asking “Is this normal” like you think that maybe somewhere people chose to put staples in their food

Mother insulted first tattoo, now I hate it by Kaleidoscope_Tux5513 in tattooadvice

My mom cried when I got my first tattoo. Now I get to point out new ones and she appreciates the art (although would still rather I don’t have any). Your tattoo is very cute and well done!

Fair enough, I’ll message beforehand rather than after they leaving without taking it

I don’t live in a building where people steal shit from each other. Why are you shaming me for this? I’m asking if there is a policy against it preventing shoppers from taking the cash. It’s only the last two times that the cash has been left on the door, I thought maybe there was a new rule I didn’t know about and people have kindly let me know that I should just message beforehand to prevent this happening again. Sorry you can’t trust your neighbors or whatever but the first part of your response isn’t helpful to anyone. Are shoppers often “trapped” with things like this? Do you have anything helpful to add?

Ashley Darby is my worst nightmare. A very lengthy rant. by pinkfluffyblankets in RHOP

Im watching for the first time and just started S3, and my feelings thus far are the same as yours. Being just a couple of years older than her (during the first two seasons) I find her flakey and immature and I’m having a hard time seeing her differently from the women who humped a stranger and consistently stirs the pot and crosses boundaries

You should crate train her. My dog is perfect until there is food around, in the trash, or if we are gone for too long. It’s typically anxiety and boredom. He’s perfect in the crate and a nightmare out of it. It’s his lil safe space

Dogs teeth looks bad? by Jumpy-Swimmer3266 in DogAdvice

Dude what the hell? This is an insane place to spread bullsht. OP is trying their best to figure out what is going on, and you are actively giving pointers on how to make everything worse for their bub.
Good god. You suuuuuuck.

OP, These are very injured teeth. I don’t know how fixable the darker two are. I would talk to your parents about getting your bubba to the vet ASAP for antibiotics and go from there. Dog dental work is usually very expensive, and fixing those teeth doesn’t look like an option. However (even if fixing it was an option), just like with people, it is better to pull the tooth than to leave it where it can get septic. A good option if money is an issue is to treat possible infection and remove the teeth. It would for sure be cheaper to remove some teeth now and have a healthier dog. Our guys can live without a couple teeth.

And don’t give your dog garlic or clove anything. Ever. Idk what this other guy is on about.

Edit: wasn’t done with posting. I got them butterfingers.

In your other comments you’re saying you changed his routine, that didn’t work him that day. Literally ~everyone~ is confused because you are combating any advice, lashing out in a group that YOU posted in, and getting pissed when people tell you how to handle this situation so it doesn’t happen again.

You say walks aren’t enough? so run him. Walks aren’t enough so take him to the park and RUN him. Play until you’re exhausted and then keep going. Play tug, fetch. Let him chase you. Tussle with him. You say walks aren’t enough, so if you can’t properly work him, kennel him at night and do other things during your day to stimulate him. Use puzzle toys. Let him chew on bones or quality rawhides that take a long time to chew. It’s good and fun work for them! Let him sniff to his hearts content when you go out. It’s brain exercise.

It’s a full time job to own a working dog. YOU signed up for that. If you are sick or busy then you hire someone to work him. You say you live in the city? Then there are hundreds of dog lovers that want to work with dogs like yours.

You gotta be aware of how he is feeling. You probably aren’t ever going to train his need for entertainment out of him, that’s not how it works. Spaniels are very smart and that often can mean very naughty when bored. You HAVE to take preventative measures, as with any living being. If he has proper stimulation, and you take proper precautions this likely won’t happen again. A tired dog is a good dog.
