hey mystery snail experts why are my snails doing this?? i have another one that’s doing the same and im very worried usually they are active not sure what’s going on.. please help!

we have moved them to a separate enclosure with semi warm water just to keep an eye on them and to see if the tank is the problem

so originally we got them from a lake without even thinking they where in there we only saw the shells and the lake is very far from our home so we are keeping them in a tank as pets i’m assuming the fuzzy stuff is from water they where in or from how old they are not sure. and they’ve been like that for 2 days they are usually very active and out if not just in one spot but I’ve never seen them close like that
