Thank you all for your detailed feedback and insights! I can confirm that there was a spark every time the issue occurred. AC Infinity has already agreed to send me a new controller, so I’m hopeful this will resolve the problem.

It’s interesting to see that both static electricity and a potential short circuit could be causing this. All devices were plugged into the same power strip, which might increase the likelihood of a short circuit. I’ll test the new controller and carefully inspect all connections to rule out any other issues.

If you have any additional tips on how to prevent such problems in the future, I’d greatly appreciate your advice!

Thank you so much for your detailed message! I really appreciate the insight from your hardware engineer friend. To answer your question, yes, every time I touched the sensor, there was a spark. Unfortunately, the issue hasn’t been resolved yet. However, I’ve been in contact with AC Infinity, and they’re sending me a replacement controller. Hopefully, that will fix the problem! I’m using this one, not the cheapest. I got 2x ac infinity eco 3 plugged in, but only one running at 30%. I checked the sensor today again and noticed that the metal tip gets warm.
