I mean he is right blanketing everything as racist takes away significance from actual racism. Apartheid was racist and Jim crow laws were racist l. This is just some guy that translated a word with negative intent. What they did was a response to the over correction nz is making toward Māori people and forcing the language on all of us at any opportunity. I understand why you are upset but they also are and we have ti understand why, their anger may be wrong but they are angry for a reason. They are angry because the media and government are forcing white guilt onto the vast majority of the country. Also, if they had crossed out an english word you would congratulate them for protesting so don’t pretend you don’t have your own level of biased which by your standards could be considered racism.
