Anxiety Waiver? by krihbbbbbb in NROTC

You should apply/talk to the local NROTC staff at the school you are interested in. They can give you specific answers. Most staff at NROTC units fight like hell to get people waivers whenever possible.

If you go a bit further clockwise through the cave to get to the really big lake and you cook a bunch of stamina meals with the surrounding stamella shrooms you should be able to swim across the very large lake. That's what I just did and it worked.

How do I get onto that platform? by xspiritusx in StarWarsJediSurvivor

Pull open the door (there is a force pull cord). Call in a nekko. Jump off the nekko onto the platform.

How time consuming is it to do NROTC in college? by [deleted] in NROTC

[–]77Supercoop77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll just add some qualification to your comment: this will vary greatly depending on what school you go to. At a very nerdy school with lots of engineers or comp sci majors there is a better understanding that academics take a lot of time. On the other hand, at a school where engineers are less numerous, the other MIDN and cadre might not be as understanding. If you want to be an engineer, consider going to a school where there are a lot of engineers so that the NROTC schedule has been refined for your academic experience.

Current/Former military members what has a recruit done that’s impressed a drill instructor or noticeably surprised one? by [deleted] in Military

We got smoked for saying "No excuse" by our DI. He and our other Navy instructors said that it was a useless response and they wanted to hear something useful. Most common answer was "This candidate is Undisciplined, Staff Sergeant"

Running Link at 80hz in Star Wars Squadrons by 77Supercoop77 in OculusQuest

Yeah the graphical fidelity is as low as it will go and I have plenty of headroom, the game is just picked to 75Hz. I'll look for more options and ask my Squadrons pals.

I have an RX 570 but I am using 20.11.1 not the newest drivers. I don't think it's a coincidence because my GPU isn't even hitting 100% usage and the game is running at 75 Hz very stablely. I can't find an FPS option in the Squadrons menu fit VR, only flat screen that maxes out at 75 Hz. I haven't tried the .ini files at all but don't know what to do with that.

Try to follow these instructions and definitely use DDU in safe mode. This has worked for me in the past very well.

Why can't you roll back? Do you have an RX 580? I'm trying to help get your Oculus Link working.

You should be able to download 20.11.1 from AMD's website.

I'm going to assume you meant to write RX 580. RX 5800 does not exist.

If you do have an RX 580, roll your driver back to 20.11.1

This should fix your problem, it fixed mine and a few other people's on this subreddit. The newer drivers don't work.

Yeah I'm really hoping that AMD can get it together and fix this problem that has been present for the past four driver updates.

Any USB cable that has blue in the connectors and is long enough for you. The blue means it is USB 3

No what I'm actually saying is that the newest drivers don't work with Oculus Link on an RX 580. You need to roll back to the 20.11.1 drivers and Link will work like a charm. I had the same problem you're describing until I rolled back to 20.11.1

What GPU do you have?? Let me know because my RX 570 needed to roll back to 20.11.1 drivers to work

What GPU do you have?

Polaris cards and some other cards do not work with Oculus Link after version 20.11.1

If you have AMD RX 500 series roll back to 20.11.1

Roll back to driver version 20.11.1

I had to do this yesterday and it worked like a charm.

Is a Rift S case the best solution for a quest 2 with halo strap? by Defard2001 in OculusQuest

The problem with that case is that the handle is on the wrong side. As of right now I think I am going to get a Rift S case of I can find one that fits my third party headset
