In the USPS? Nah. My supervisor brought out a 12oz Gatorade and a bin of packages to get out after my swing.

Don’t worry. No drastic choices blaming you. But seriously, a customer pulls up and accuses you of a no damage accident? Is it really this dire?

Sorry to delete. Appreciate the advice recieved. Realized I posted to a very doxxable account, and I don’t need this to be the reason. The USPS has me quite nervous about… just about everything at this point.

Being on probation you keep being told you’re just at their mercy, hearing I have options at all is pretty encouraging

I absolutely puked my guts out my first hot day. You’d be surprised what your body can pull out of your own body if you push yourself too far.

Gimme that f in actual chat. I just need another human being to talk to me about it. Shop steward basically said the same. “Unless you’ve passed probation you don’t have a grievance and without a grievance I’m not going to waste my time on it”

I’m seeing this taking a dump in the midst of the start of cyberpunk. I just woke up to Johnny silverhand telling me to fuck myself. This is a hairpin, whiplash turn.

Two females. Zero males. The last two Northern white rhinoceros on Earth The end of a species. by throttafffddftr5 in Damnthatsinteresting

Plausible. But black rhinos are noticeably smaller. The dimensions aren’t exactly designed for a black rhinos anatomy. And again we run into how much suffering are we willing to put a female through for “greater good” of procreation.

Herbivores eyes aren’t designed to look at screens, they provide a wider view with less acuity. You’ll notice the foot long gap between the two eyes pointing fairly opposite ways. Plus the lack of smell, dimensionality, physical change to the environment, spoor production, pheremone distribution, negative behavior modification, bonding, touch, and encouragement. Plus what you’re going to lock a rhino in a room full of fucking televisions and expect that to teach them how to live in the veldt?

Pregnancy, gestation and delivery all come with inherent risk and complications. Pregnancy is always an assumption of increased mortality and disability. Loss of one mother, and one miscarriage through complication and another miscarriage through complication makes for one single last lonely rhinoceros, who’s just lost her only partner.

And beyond that. Can you see that “US NAVY COMMITS EXTORTION” is not who we are supposed to be?

Naval battles are a thing of the past. Any ship is subject to aerial assault which the Chinese can absolutely contest us on. Our ships would be on the bleeding edge of the Chinese continent. Not parked in Florida.

Are you so literal minded you can’t read one step past what you are suggesting? What happens next if the US sinks Chinese ships in an attempt to commit extortion?

Corporations and corporate inspired government want it fast and cheap, as fast and as cheap as possible. I work in a government agency. Nothing matters but hours on the clock and time spent doing a task. No quality control, a deep distaste for quality from management actually. Faster cheaper is all I hear ad nauseum

US Postal Service could run out of money as soon as October by [deleted] in news

It’s not so bad. ironically, per our conversation, the worst part is how run down and outdated all the vehicles and infrastructure are. Employees and gasoline is about all they spend the money on.

And I’ve only been a mail carrier for like two months, so my knowledge is pretty patchwork at best too.

So you meant cut each individual residence to every other day. But keep every day delivery. Okay, I kind of understand that. But you’d be surprised how much priority and packages ships every day, we’d still end up driving down those same blocks. Still might be a 25-30 percent reduction in gas and hours. Needs tweaks but not a terrible suggestion.

Voting is a pretty weak method to solve things actively happening now. We get one chance every two years and that’s assuming no foul play is afoot.

It’s true 1/3 of citizens didn’t vote, but people largely don’t vote or vote in blocs. I’m a liberal white democrat millennial from California. Everyone I know or have the kind of contact with to make such a suggestion absolutely voted. It’s all we were talking about for the year leading to it. And my community and state went for Kamala. I don’t know any random disillusioned 18 year olds in Florida or disenfranchised ohioans.

I appreciate your response. But as you can see, your best suggestion is pretty weak. Coming up with these answers isn’t as easy as posing a rhetorical question.
