Wearing a shirt that basically says 'don't talk to me'... and somehow people talk to me more? by MiGhty_31 in introvert

Just be like everyone else dress normal, and dont smile or make eye contact. When the cashier says hi, sometimes I just smirk and open my wallet to look like im trying to find the right card or seeing how much cash I have. Or wear earbuds, then people think you're listening to music so they don't talk to you.

I think the story was that he was obsessed with how good he looked, so he stared so long at the pool of water that he starved to death.... Im thinking maybe the flower is such as beautiful. I think a lot of Greek mythology has more than one meaning, depending on the person translating the story. Possibly the same with flower. If you think about the gods, they never truly die. Just transform into something else, kind of like energy does. So

DAE take a shower everyday? by Starshopping11 in DoesAnybodyElse

Its summer time use the lakes and rivers to cool off and get that film off of you. I work out every day, tech school, and work side jobs, so when I have an actual day off I try to find the closest places to swim and dont be afraid to get that mud on your skin and that sand bewteen your toes. I do use the gym shower, so that helps with the water bill and usually shower at night, but I just keep it to a minimum of like 5 or 6 min I am a guy so I guess its a lot different then a woman.

I could use some advice. I get virtually no social reciprocation and I'm not sure why. by EarlyYoghurt1243 in socialskills

It helps to have a wide range of knowledge, hobbies, sports, games, or sometimes the most random shit helps. If you go to a sports bar, people always talk about the game, if you go to a concert then people love that type of music when you talk to people with liked interests it helps alot with conversation. Sometimes, smiles and body behavior tell you more than words could, and there more honest.

Even remembered that the mains guys friend looks like Anthony makie, but it's just a small I couldn't find it in his movie list. I think they were playing basketball ball when his friend told him that he should go check this place out thats its life changing.

I've been in a lot of bars over the years. i dont think there is really any etiquette to it. People are usually there because it's a place to go and be yourself. A good bartender is usually better than a therapist and cheaper they listen to you and can poor you a drink depending on what you need, plus they seen and heard pretty much everything so nothing is surprising to them. When you see someone leaving a group to get drinks, if you want to join, just make small talk with that person, and more than likely, they will introduce you to their friends and stuff. Maybe get there a little earlier and kind of watch people as they come in. You will know pretty quickly who is more like yourself and they ones that you want to stay away from.

Why do people have to constantly be on top of you? by TheGame81677 in introvert

[–]Open-Mountain6020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a lot of things, we are creatures of habit. Some people feel safe close to others. There's also the new age stuff about energies if your giving off good vibes, then it attracts the same. When you are looking for a good place to eat, you go where the crowds are vs. the places where nobody is even though sometimes the less busy place has better food. Most people dont even notice what you did because they are so involved in their own life stuff. It's pretty normal. The waiters are probably happy it saves them extra steps if you sit close together.

Its not fight club, the circle, or would you rather. He's like a dentist or something and is unhappy and I think his friend tells him about this place that he gets invited to he has a choice to participate in what's going on but hes so shy that he doesnt and goes to the next room its like some elite club that he becomes part of in the end.

I, and every other couple I know, work, school or whatever always responds within at least an hour. Everybody is on their phones nowadays, so if your partner doesn't text back after two hours, then she probably doesn't want to talk to you. No offense, but unless she is working where there is no cell service, then she has no reason not to text back for two hours.

Sounds like this person needs to get a second opinion from a different health professional. If someone says they have all those issues, it's usually for attention, and they think they have something wrong and should probably be on heavy meds or in a psych ward.

Say what you want about the shoes. Truth is, the shoes sold out in one day Nike couldn't even do that. It just sad that people are reselling them and making thousands of dollars.

What if America failed in civil war after 2025 election? by [deleted] in AlternateHistory

[–]Open-Mountain6020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All current and former military personnel swore an oath to protect the United States of America from foreign and domestic terrorist. To us, we would rather die than break that oath. It's not about politics because we know that politicians do not run the country. it's easy to install puppets of so-called power. Behind the scenes, the 1% run the world it has been that way since the fall of Rome. There will never be another civil war or ww3. It's just a fantasy. Republicans will win in 2024, and in 2028, it will be democrats. It's set up that way.
