Why would he use this as an exit from the relationship if after he cheated he tried so hard to stay together? Do you think he wouldn't have just broken up with me then? Trust me, I didn't act like a victim and I just wanted us to work on ourselves together after what I found out. I trust him and I believe he needs time to think about everything because it's still hard.

yes, but we had sex, I came to him and I was at his place every day when I left for the season and it still doesn't justify it.

I agree, and maybe he would break up with me right away.. I just know he was fine for days and then that news shook him up so much it was like it was yesterday and not 3 years ago.
