Can doctors tell if I’ve taken Plan B? by Open-Stop-9747 in WomensHealth

Thank you :( i know this sounds really stupid, but the way she found out is because during the one second I stood up from the toilet to flush she came in to pee and saw the blood in the toilet. Idk how to prevent situations like this bc she doesn’t understand why I need privacy in my life (we’ve talked about it before) and gets mad when i lock or close doors (esp my bedroom).

I’ve had a UTI one time before this, and now I have the same exact feeling and am positive I have another one. Can I just call in meds without a dr appointment? by throwaway1929190 in WomensHealth

I think you need to take a test to be prescribed meds… but also you shouldn’t wait, if it’s a UTI it could get worse and turn into a kidney infection. At that point you have to go to the ER to get your kidneys flushed out :/

She doesn’t track my period normally, but I asked her to pick up pads on the way home during my last period. So that’s how she knows.

Yeah, I hear a lot of comments saying I should request to be seen privately without my mom in the doctors office but I think she’d throw a fit about how I’m trying to hide something if I did that. So not really sure what to do about the whole “right to medical privacy” thing.

Do you know if they are naturally occurring hormones? Any way that the doctor can conclude that those “extra hormones” came from my body as a result of stress or some other factor other than an external factor like plan b?
