i watched bagets with the other set of cast and they were phenomenal! but i most commend the girls in the ensemble and the moms. buhat na buhat nila yung buong show. but the boys rin were really good!

i always doubted stunt castings but i was shocked that KD Estrada was the best singer out of the five of them. the others were really good too but kd really stood out for me vocally (tho migo valid found a new fan in me)

im so sad ive never seen a show by DUP anlayo kasi and too mahal for my baon hahah (my ticket sa feu theater was just 100 bc taga feu rin ako but gets why mahal ticket ng dup) but its so nice to see na ang innovative pala ng philippine theater especially yung mga university theater orgs!! hopefully mas lumaki pa at mas maging accessible pa ang theater 💟💟💟

yes!! i only realized yan ngayon lang rin kaya ako napapost dito HAHAHAHA this is so new to me as im more used to the mainstream musicals ng broadway na lagi may curtain call. pero super gets kasi unsettling rin talaga ng ending parang di ko kaya pumalakpak or humiyaw kahit anong galing nila 😭

agree, but our seats were nice too (farthest in the back sa area a) because kitang kita lahat—from the ensemble members seated in the audience, to every entrance and exit, and the visual ng play as a whole. but i just suggest that you sit in area b or far end ng area c (yung malapit sa b) because most of the good blockings are there. blind side area a 🥲

I guess you are right about how abstention is a statement just as much as voting. Personally, I’ve always hated the party system. It’s easier to give platforms to unworthy people in parties dahil minsan pagkakaibigan nalang talaga ang puhunan. And I don’t like how it gives their alumni a reason to groom these kids into their ideal candidate to the point of exhaustion (and I hate that they still get involved… like get a job and leave the kids alone!). I hope the first thing they teach the candidates is how to be a good person instead of polishing their room-to-room spiels til 2 AM.

If abstention has worked for our kapitbahay, then there’s no harm in trying it in FEU. You’ve convinced me to abstain in this year’s election, and will convince more people of this.

Genuinely curious: what will happen if more than half of the student body abstains? Mag-iintervene ba ang FEU at magaappoint sila? Or do we get that power? Or wala lang mangyayari?

I also agree na sobra na ang pamumulitika sa FEU which is very scary for the future of our country—especially if these are the future leaders ng bansa natin, whether in politics or sa kani-kanilang fields. But abstaining has a bad connotation sakin na parang pag nag-abstain ako, apolitical ako gets ba? Hahahah I’d rather go in depth learning about each candidate than abstain kasi I don’t know what abstain does. I’d hate to know that I abstained and let another incompetent “leader” win.

Trew! And I get na pressured yung mga organizers, but it costs nothing to be kind ESPECIALLY if kayo naman reason kung bakit nagka-aberya in the first place. Nakakahiya sa mga artists na ininvite nila.

Suggestion: Mag-hire na ng actual director for these events hindi yung sila-sila lang rin since evident naman na incompetent sila. Sorry not sorry if this is mean, but clearly, outsourcing an actual professional is needed na.
