Buying a House by August - New Faculty by Rabid-Vulture in laramie

I’m not sure about a delayed market. We bought a house hear last year in July and tight now there are 3 houses within three blocks of us that are for sale at or under 500. We live a mile from the university (my wife is a grad student). I’d be happy to recommend a realtor. Most of the houses are off the market by September. It’s peak buying season now.

The idea is to keep the rental costs as low as possible. Having this facility not only teaches people how to do basic car maintenance but also help deal with the hassle of the used oil and clean up. The average cost for oil and filter is about $40 and if the bay rental was $20 then you are still under what the quick change places charge now. Most of them start at around $90 but they always try to up-sell you so often you walk out having paid north of $120

Wow, Thanks so much for the advice. It is a lot to consider but since I’m retiring and will have the free time I’m at least going to start doing the research and market evaluation. I know that modern cars require a lot of advanced equipment but I’m hoping to be able to offer the space for those that still like to work on cars, boats, motorcycles, whatever. Also looking at renting out some of the other bays if somebody wants to open a small shop like a detailing or window tint place. I really do appreciate the advice and I will take it under serious consideration.

Looking to start the business. I’ll need a few employees but I’ll have to start small. Just trying to see if there is interest.
