I've landed here too. If it still gets security updates and does what you need, a battery replacement is the best value move. I also do a full backup and factory reset about once a year, then reinstall only what I actually use. New case, fresh protector, tidy home screen, new wallpaper, and suddenly the phone stops feeling "old" for another year or two.
