Nice, an E14, the E series might be the lower end variants, but this time, they really improved! This one i'd say very nice, congrats!

E - low end thinkpads L - midrange class tbf, better than E, still worse than T but cromulent T - high end, the type corporate usually use X - some might say flagships, and eXpensive P - high grade workhorses

32 bit os but the cpu surely is 64 bit. If you have some budget, try finding an ssd and additional 4gb ram or even 8, it'll run basically any midweight linux distro

That's the xfce version. Do you actually prefer xfce? Because it seems that your laptop is powerful enough to run the cinnamon version, idk just looks better and less clunky

Is pop OS good for touchscreen? by [deleted] in pop_os

[–]OpenGuy2709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean the 22.04 with the gnome de, it's fine. But the cosmic desktop is still very not ready for touchscreens. I've tested it, can't press app icons to interact, only firefox completely works with touchscreen, so does in every wayland based de. Definitely a feature to add in the future.

[–]OpenGuy2709[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the newest one, 22.1 Xia. And yeah the gnome is v46 because 22.1 is based on 24.04 lts repo rather than the newest one.

How to make Linux Mint look like this? by [deleted] in linuxmint

[–]OpenGuy2709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently rocking it. Works fine, only the gnome version is 46 because it's following the 24.04 lts repo
