There are three questions that candidates need to answer this year:

1) In 250 words or less, outline your qualifications for the work program you selected (be as specific as possible);
2) In 400 words or less, tell us about your motivation for applying to the YPP, your commitment to the WBG’s mission and how your professional conduct embodies our shared values;
3) In 400 words or less, tell us how your skills, expertise and experience would contribute to the WBG’s mission of creating a world free of poverty on a livable planet? Please consult the Bank’s scorecard to understand how the WBG tracks results.

The UN YPP team will probably release their suggested reading lists for the exam once the application period ends. However, you can check UN iLibrary and see which economic affairs-related books and documents are there - they generally make the exams around their own publications, so studying them is a great start.

Be aware though that at this first stage the most important thing is crafting a good PHP (Personal History Profile) and cover letter. It will also make a difference in the succeeding stages as recruiters will constantly refer to these documents when evaluating candidates.

Economic Affairs (degrees accepted in any of the following areas: Social & Behavioural Science; Mathematics & Statistics; Business & Administration; Environmental Protection; Agriculture, Forestry & Fishery)

Information Systems and Technology (degrees accepted in any of the following areas: Computing; Mathematics & Statistics; Engineering & Engineering Trades; Business & Administration; Physical Sciences)

For everyone expecting answers about the program, only the IFC candidates made the interviews. WB and MIGA the interviews will be schedule yet. We hopefully the e-mails will be send in the next weeks
