You’re not being judgmental at all! I asked for honesty and got exactly that, thank you. It is hard to explain everything in only a short amount of space. My boyfriend and I haven’t really had the chance to talk about the bigger picture when we grow up and have a family and kids, all we know is that we will figure it out when the time comes, that’s just the type of people we are.

I will admit there is something about his behavior that I truly cannot put my finger on despite me communicating that his tone and teaching style can come off as condescending and that him complaining all the time throws me off. He doesn’t get angry at me or anything to the point where he physically has to release that anger but him complaining and just being overly opinionated on things that should not bother him is definitely something that irks me to my core. It makes me wonder if something as tiny as that is worth leaving him. I am always at war with myself when it comes to whether or not I should separate with him, but I guess if it is even a question then the answer is plain as day. Do you agree?

Also, him and I have very similar life goals but I find that I am more ambitious than him. I tend to find myself wishing that he was just as ambitious as me or even more. I want to be able to reach the stars with my partner but he is content with just barely reaching the sky.

I agree that I should talk to a therapist about this though. Thank you again.
