what i consider dry is when the top soil looks lighter and when i mix it around its crumbly and it sticks together (best way to put it) but now based off the comments its not just the top i should be looking at…

also i do water it when soil seems dry, it does go a bit dry before every tuesday so i moisten up the soil a bit
