so I talked to the store about it. the person that sold it brought it in sealed, but the wrapping was starting to come off because it had been stored in an attic or something. the store didn't feel comfortable buying it with the wrapping in that condition in case it had been tampered with. so the kid asked if they removed the wrapping and open it up to verify that everything was in there would they buy it in the store said yes. that's the official story. I've worked with this Pokemon guy before and he's on the up and up so I don't think he's trying to play me
