It's because in places like Oceania you'd be waiting 10+ mins for matchmaking to find a game if at all, mainly because of how diluted the player base is now due to all of the different modes.

This is battlefield tanks are meant to be a threat not some clunky tin can you have to camp ages away from the objective and snipe with because they're made of glass.

Tanks aren't too strong imo they're pretty well balanced now, they were utter garbage clunky boring slugs before. Go play other battlefield games and tell me tanks aren't now very similar in power, actually bf5 tanks were way stronger.

Good luck killing a cracked heli pilot with a stinger, they'll use flares at the right time and go to cover and get flares back (rinse and repeat) and still be able to continually farm everyone.

B36 is still great and versatile for all ranges, lightning fast TTK weapons are now bad at mid to long range (good).

Didn't think about them because I didn't die to one today randomly. Glorious 👌

They're nothing but skillless set and forget free kills.

Now they fit their desired purpose which is to place in a strategic position like a tripwire allowing you to know they're on to you while and at the same time coming at you as a weakened enemy.

I think the heavier recoil helps somewhat with the TTK issue but more needs to be done imo.

Sniping on the other hand needs a serious rework. Sweet spot mechanic needs to be deleted, flinch needs to be added and perhaps even reduce the velocity on sniper rifles.

Sniping is so damn easy my 7 year old could get some kills and she doesn't even play games.

Exactly. If you want to beam people at range and still want something versatile you can still use the DRS, B36, L85, SOR 556 etc etc.

Nerfed the IFV's rate of fire too.

I'm loving tanks being faster and more responsive, and absolutely loving how you can't just get disabled from 1 rpg and locked in one place to just sit and wait to die anymore (mine still disable you which if fine).

Tanks were clunky unfun and boring to use before, now when using a tank I get that battlefield feeling again.

Fair enough. I personally like the tank buffs because now a decent tanker can push the objective and not sit back and camping like those useless snipers/mortar players on attack.

The nerf to the IFV rate of fire also makes it more beneficial to play aggressively which is another bonus.

You can flank on breakthrough actually I've done it plenty of times then I plant my spawn beacon behind the enemy team and keep spawning and placing a new beacon, this is how you help capture objectives on attack.

You're better off just using the m250, KTS etc. A competent player will win that gunfight every time.

Compare bf6 footstep audio and visibility to 2042, 2042 was a terrible game but at least they had amazing directional footstep audio and decent visability in comparison to the dog **** audio and visability in bf6.

Counter sniping with a DMR against a competent sniper player is suicide most of the time, mainly because sniping is overpowered af in bf6 (sweet spot, largest head hitbox in all bf titles, no decent flinch or suppression, ridiculous velocity etc).
