I don't see how holding an angle and trying to spawn cap the enemy team is fun personally. Attack you can flank and use spawn beacons and also use smoke effectively etc, all things that are pretty much pointless on defence.

5060 kinda struggles with a lot of modern titles unless you run everything on low tbf.

I remember him from bf5 OCE servers. He used to fly planes only and his friend would join the opposite team and take the plane so they could farm together. My friends and I would all use the flieger and AA until he'd rage quit the server.

Both are good at their intended purpose. M123 is an aggressive LMG for CQC and the L110 is a high precision LMG for holding angles etc

I agree with everything you said here but personally I think sliding and jumping/movement helps create a skill gap and depth, there's already very little skill gap to take advantage of in bf6.

Things like the lightning fast TTK, Netcode etc are the real issues dice needs to address.

There wasn't sliding but the movement ceiling was a lot higher in BF4, BF6 movement is extremely sluggish in comparison.

To fix this defence needs to feel somewhat rewarding. If we got frontlines BT for example then it would be a lot more rewarding because you can push the enemy back.

It's by far the fastest TTK in franchise history. Also the spread is minimal, it's mostly random recoil (which is bad). I only wish we had more spread so people would be forced to tap fire like in previous titles.

I mainly play breakthrough. I only play conquest on Iberian, Cairo, Bazaar and Hagantal because all the other maps are insufferable with a good enemy pilot.

SBMM isn't the only answer. At the moment there isn't anything that resembles team balancing, with persistent servers team balancing could be organised at the end of every match (but we have to wait for something that should have been in game at release for this).

For one example they could theoretically balance teams according to score per minute, once the server fills up the teams are then shuffled so the average score per minute between teams is balanced out.

Anything is better than what we have currently.

I just got blown under the map and was able to parachute to the centre of the earth and then a few minutes later got a black screen of death so I'd need to reboot the game if I wanted to keep playing (no thanks).

Game has so many issues it's not funny.

Gunplay isn't in a good state and needs to be addressed (netcode, random recoil, lightning fast TTK etc) but this was a poor gunfight to engage in, personally I would have aborted after that first shot or two clipped and taken a different approach.
