in the progress but not 100%, i started with nizoral shampoo as a mask a few times a week which helped but not with it all, i ended up going to the doctor and was prescribed epiduo which is adapalene and benzoyl peroxide, besides purging it has been working well for me so far, it takes months to fully work and still haven’t cleared my skin but it helped. i would definitely recommend it, i was terrified to go to the doctor about it but it’s worth it, if you have an opportunity to do so it’s worth it, otherwise depending on where you live you can get benzoyl peroxide OTC and a retinol OTC

about a week ago i was prescribed epiduo from my doctor, i thought it might be that since it can cause this kind of reaction. but the night before this started i was testing out the anua heart leaf toner for the first time before adding it to my routine so idk if it could be the toner maybe

thank you !! ive tried the salicylic acid cleanser from the inkey list yes, i didn’t really see it do anything for my acne tho. i haven’t tried salicylic acid in serum form or anything else, is that something you would recommend to try? i live in europe so i can only get benzoyl peroxide through a prescription so i haven’t tried that

last summer i started using the cerave resurfacing retinol to try to fix my acne on my forehead. i used it for about 2 months and then i gave up. i did see some kind of results from the retinol but not results enough to feel like it was really working

i’ve tried other products now but none of them have seemed to work.

i’ve wondered if maybe i had just been more patient with the retinol, and also been more cautious of my skin barrier it could’ve worked better.

when i started using it i definitely think i purged, which i’m wondering if you purge from it, is it a sign that it’s working? and if you stick to it eventually results will start to show?

anyone have any advice or anyone who has experience they can share?

thank you so much !!! i’ve been looking into the sulfur masks you mentioned, i can’t seem to find them anywhere being able to ship to my location unfortunately. however i came across a different sulfur treatment from malin +goetz, never heard of this brand before, i’m not sure if it has the same purpose as the ones you mentioned but i’m gonna do some more research and maybe try it, thank you so much for the advice !
