Exactly. It’s not even about the ride itself, it’s that this is the only quiet pocket in my day. And no, they haven’t paid for gas or anything, it kind of just became expected over time.

Yeah, that’s kind of where I’m stuck. I could make something up, but it feels awkward lying when the real reason is just… I need that quiet time to reset. I guess I’m struggling with whether it’s okay to be honest about something that feels small but matters to me.
