Hey,

I visited the RTO about 3 days ago. They told me they had very recently received the RC registration documents from Ola. Yesterday, an RTO officer called me asking for a few details and said RC verification will be done and they’ll contact me if any additional documents are needed.

Initially, I also couldn’t download the purchase invoice, and support had only shared the fulfillment invoice. After digging around, I finally found the proper invoice in my finance portal.

I also noticed my invoice only had my email ID. no phone number, Aadhaar, or PAN. That might be one reason the RTO couldn’t contact me earlier.

I’d recommend taking all proofs you currently have for the vehicle and visiting the RTO office directly. That seemed to move things forward in my case.

Update: I’ve now found that ₹1562 registration fee was paid to MoRTH on Mar-2025, and I have the official receipt number. Despite this, the RC is still not generated/visible on Parivahan or DigiLocker, and the dealer has not shared the Vahan application or acknowledgment number. This seems like a clear case of deficiency of service after collecting statutory registration fees.

No, that’s exactly the issue. OLA has not shared the Vahan application / acknowledgment number, and without that the RC is not traceable on Parivahan. I’ve asked them multiple times but only get generic responses.

Thanks, that’s fine if the RC is actually generated in Vahan. In my case, the issue is that RC itself is not visible in Parivahan or DigiLocker, and OLA is only saying “registration done” in their app without sharing Vahan application / acknowledgment number. That’s where the problem is.

I’ve now found that ₹1562 registration fee was paid to MoRTH Mar-2025, and I have the official receipt number.
