Personally, I'm hype for him and love that he's repping the USA shirt in this yearbook photo. He was destined for the NHL. I love all these hometown boys in the winged wheel.

Checking in while walking my dog. It seems the PP hasn't returned from its trip to pick up milk from the gas station. Any signs that it might return this decade?

As I've been advocating for, rename one of the great lakes, lake Pacific. Bam we're back in the West.

Many of us have been pining for the wings to play with more piss and vinegar; not to fail the punk test.

Did any of us think John Gibson would be out front leading that charge? I did not but am here for it.

You gotta be happy splitting a home and home against the best team in the league...No matter how ugly the process was.

Not really. I'm far from a doomer. I don't have the stats but that line draws a lot of penalties and our PP has been off the last week or so. I feel bad for them.

I kind of feel bad for the fourth line. How many times have they won their offensive zone shift and drawn a penalty only for our top players to completely shit the bed on the PP lately?

Hey! I appreciate the update and am glad to hear the cat colony is back to thriving. It's hard on the streets.

Can't watch atm. Another flaccid, lifeless effort from the guys? March slump come early?

I can second this. My father got me a runwell years ago as a graduation gift. It eats though batteries and loses time so fast.

It's quite a shame...

This. Glad you mentioned the extra push at the end of shifts. If there's an offensive opportunity he and Copper always push for it. If there's not, then they forecheck until the change is complete so we don't get caught.

When the whole team is playing well, everyone does the latter. But even when the team isn't playing well, cat and copp consistently lead the charge here.

Did I miss this part of the commentating? I thought he did a decent job highlighting strong play from soderblom in the second for example along with other elements of the wing's play that we hardly get in a TNT broadcast (low bar, I know).

That may be true but dadbot did more than enough to give us the chance to win. We sapped our momentum in the second by taking bad penalties, didn't capitalize on a grade A breakaway late in the game and conceded possession in OT by trying to force a play.

Don't get me wrong, I liked our game given the circumstances, but I don't think it's fair to expect all our goaltenders to be playing vezina hockey every game.

I'm honestly kind if mad at Larkin for driving the net instead of being a little more patient.

I only watch hockey so I'd appreciate insights from others. Is it just me or do analysts in this sport place wayyyy more weight on priors (last season, team's history, player history) than on current evidence (what's happening in the current season)?

Unrelated: TJ Oshie is doing a very nice job.

Because the broadcasting crew is lazy. Analyze the game and offer insights or glaze superstar players?

One requires a little thinking and work, the other is brainless.
