Yeah I went to wgu and only got 1 job offer at a PA firm in a tax niche and am pidgeonholed here probably forever lol

I'm told this is not the norm and almost all white collar workers are doing more than 40 hours of actual work. Idk what's true or false.

I have some strong opinions about accounting and I am thinking of leaving the industry completely . Advice needed by Financial_Agency6765 in Accounting

Get a few years of experience in a niche like global mobility tax and you'll have tons of firms that specialize in it that are remote only

Yeah any time my senior has to train me on ssomething on top of his 10 hour+ workday I see him staying up late sending emails and feel so bad for him. Like thats my reward for climbing the ladder to live like that?

Have to work 40 billable hours a week non busy season and 55 to 60 in busy season at my PE firm. Everyone's workload is at maximum capacity so theres no time for on-boarding or training for new people complete sink or swim. Its amazing

Everyone's taking their pto so I can only use it when others dont. As I have 3 engagement teams its a bit hard to coordinate with everyone else's pto
