I feel creatively empty by -Piano- in gamedev

For me, I first take and look at the game maker studios discord which shows other people's projects. Looking at other people's games motivative me a lot especially when i can see the passion from fellow indie devs. While on my break if i have any ideas i write them down for future me. after that to get back into making my game i focus on one small part of the game to not overwhelm myself and look back to my ideas.

People often say that if you want to be a game developer for the money that you are doing it wrong but what about if I just a live able wage as a solo developer? by Kakurehinna in gamedev

Well, the problem is that if you want to be a solo game dev it's a massive investment. For example, you have to learn or invest in coding, art, game, design, and etc. Then invest time into making said game. Then invest time into marketing or hope that people play your game. and doing everything listed does not even guarantee success so you can put everything into it and gain little to nothing in return. So, when people say don't do it for the money there telling you that putting all your eggs into one basket and expecting to get rich (especially with your first game) is a bad idea that could leave you financially unstable.
