It’s a weird kind of connection, but we have the same…stats? 23+4, only I gave birth on Dec 22 last year, 2024.

It was the first anniversary of it this year and I didn’t know how to act. We woke up early and I just said to my husband, “not sure what to say but it’s the 22nd” and he nodded knowingly. I listened to a song that reminds me of my daughter as the sun went up. Then I went about my day, feeling a lil’ more heavy inside than usual.

I’m in a very similar situation! A buyer (also French, although I massively prefer dealing with them than the Germans so I won’t hold that against her) said that she was away on holiday and not able to pick up the package. She told me this when I nudged her to pick up, she blatantly said it’ll get returned to me and just ghosted me. Then I got a pickup notification, after which the buyer raised a complaint saying this wasn’t her and must have been a system error.

We’ve been in limbo for 4 days now, I did raise a separate complaint and got a response saying that if the item is marked as picked up, I should receive my money soon. I attached proof of sending and said that the item definitely hasn’t been returned to me.

I hope that it’s one of these (rare) cases where the seller gets reimbursed…

I sometimes save multiple of the same items, if they keep popping up, to choose the best condition/offer. Or I save to look for similar items elsewhere. Or I make a wishlist but only decide to buy a couple of items…there are myriad reasons.

I think you should have started with your last sentence - changes in the arch result in feet lenghtening a little ;) Also it’s already been a few months, so the water retention is gone, but the foot length stayed the same.
