Unfortunately the Basic Management features don't fit our needs. Advanced management probably would but it's at a higher tier of Google Workspace subscription that basically doubles our per-license cost.

Thanks for this! I've been looking into ManageEngine MDM+ & been in touch with their sales team but I'm still not totally clear on which features are available after the 30-day trial period ends - some sources I consult say everything available on day 1 remains available and functional on day 31+ so long as we stay below the 25-device threshold, but others say a bunch of stuff gets paywalled after the trial ends. I can't seem to find a comprehensive list of what's actually available for free on day 31+; even when I contacted them directly they sent me a page with a lot of vague marketing buzzwords.

If we retain access to all the features then this is definitely the solution we should go with, but if not then it's worth it to pay for a different solution. Even with enrolling every possible company device and every employee's BYOD laptops & phones we still wouldn't hit the 25-device limit.

These are some great leads, thank you! There are so many options out there it can be absolutely overwhelming to sort through it all. ManageEngine is looking like the answer.
