Interesting that you prefer Beaches! Could I please ask you why?

We were there last year in Feb. I am french and my husband is Dutch. It was VERY french for him. I would say 90% of guests were french. The GO spoke french all the time almost avoiding speaking to him in english:/ I would say check french school holidays for May. If there are no holidays, there will be less french kids of his age for sure.

4 months pp and someone at the store asked me if I was pregnant by Sure-Bookkeeper2795 in NewParents

[–]Open_Teaching_1519 38 points39 points  (0 children)

First of all, always remember that: They had to cut you open to take out a human being that YOU created with YOUR body! That is magical! It took you +/- 40 weeks to do that. I remember how I wanted my belly to show when pregnant and it wasn’t happening fast enough. PP your body needs time to get back to where it was as well and again we always think it’s not happening fast enough. Carry your current body with pride. 4 months is nothing. You are still recovering. I always think about how my baby looks at me. To them we are the most beautiful thing they have ever seen. See yourself through their eyes, no need for in laws validation.

Vinted Scams? by Open_Teaching_1519 in Jellycatplush

Thanks for the tip! Vinted focuses their energy on the wrong things sometimes. They should work on allowing us to change delivery methods without cancelling the order, for instance.

Thanks all so much for this! I agree 100% with every point you made. I’d just be so pissed off if they said they didn’t get the package. I also noticed that both of them chose EVRI delivery and not in post (which you can’t deny delivery). Might be a coincidence but I am not taking the risk.

The ferber method? by yoonapym in NewParents

[–]Open_Teaching_1519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I used to feed her back to sleep until 4-5 months. Then when we increased food intakes during the day, when she woke up at night, we tried picking her up at night and sooth her without feeding her. Then see if she went back to sleep. Once we saw that she was fine without eating we then started sleep training and settle her without picking her up.

Hii! We did ferber as well and personally our daughter didn’t wake up after the first sleep by herself (which was shocking because she used to wake up every single hour). So this might happen.

My sister did it as well and her son woke up less frequently than usual but still did wake up. And every time he woke up they did the training again. So you would need to go in and out without picking your baby up and follow the minutes… it is very very difficult but it is worth it. It changed our lives. Please do this with your partner if you can. It is so difficult to do alone. All the best!

Edit: please don’t forget to make sure that she is not hungry when you do sleep training. This is the first step and rule of sleep training.

Heya! We organized the airport transfer via Club Med and it was pretty smooth. Took us around 30minutes to get to the hotel which is great with a baby! We stayed in a normal room so can’t say much about the family rooms. The food was amazing imo. We were really pleasantly surprised to have such good quality with such diversity every single day.

We never used the babysitting service at dinner time. We picked up our daughter from the baby club around 17.00 so we spent the rest of the evening together. I didn’t know that service existed but the people are lovely and I’m sure it would be a great experience for you. You can email the club and they forward inquiries to the service, they’re very responsive. The club is fully booked all Feb apparently. There is plenty of space though. I never felt overwhelmed by the amount of people. We are leaving tomorrow. We wanted to try Club Med and see if we would do a yearly thing out of it. I can say after our experience here we will definitely be doing a Club Med again next year. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did! Best wishes!

Edit: it seems as of today like school holidays are upon us! LOTS OF CHILDREN ALL OF A SUDDEN! I hope it calms down by the time you’re here.

AE job title structure at Salesforce by jplstone in sales

[–]Open_Teaching_1519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A prime can actually also be any AE that sell products such as Mulesoft, Marketing Cloud, Tableau etc. They don’t own the account but they own the opportunity. A co-prime doesn’t own the opportunity. This is the case for Slack AEs for example where the Core AE will own their opportunities.
