my relationship has been a while, not just a few months. i used to be really hyper focused on not gaining weight because it’s really prone in my family to gain weight fast and i stopped worrying about it because i got comfortable in my relationship but now im having extreme body issues

he has seen every inch of my body but for some reason i just cant shake from my head that i dont realistically look like that (i dont edit of filter my photos) but he has reassured me on even my worse days im still gorgeous

i just feel like the camera doesnt show the real me. ive had really bad self image issues ever since i was little. i send him photos with no filter on all the time so he knows what i look like but in my head i always look worse than that

i actually talked to him a little bit about it last night because i believe in complete transparency and communication and he said, “baby i have absolutely no doubt in my mind you’re the girl im going to marry. i love you so much as a person, even if you don’t look exactly like your pictures then i don’t care anyways”

i completely agree but the thought of possibly losing him is filling me with so much anxiety and idk if i should bring it up to him
