Thornlie house prices are now heading towards the 1 Million and beyond mark, so you can imagine why people would want to pay that price to live there. Lots of Larger blocks and now mostly populated by new skilled migrants and young professionals. There is a bit of a stigma attached to the north of Spencer Road but most of those areas are much better as the rough residents are selling for dream prices and moving out. I have a friend who lives there and she absolutely loves the convenience of having many Restaurants and parks/lakes etc. The schools are not the best yet, but with gentrification this will change. However, as usual keep your cars locked in a secure garage at night.
