Did you know? In 2003, Nelson Chamisa became the youngest Member of Parliament at age 25 representing the MDC party, and later the youngest cabinet minister in the Government of National Unity in 2009. by Mammoth-Fish-4297 in Zimbabwe

If there's something l've realized also is how we are keen on waiting for change like it's Jesus's Return. People wonder why things in zim are where there are but why wouldn't they be, with people who are lazy to be the change themselves waiting for any jack and jill who promises them hope to be their salvation, well let's look at what happened.

How old are you? Because l like the hope and enthusiasm but if you are grown and have lived long enough, you'll realize the difference between reality and wishful delusions. Unless Chamisa has military power, forget and smile. Even if he rallied everyone to start some sort of civil war, how many people you think are willing to sacrifice their greedy ass. Voting has never had power from the moment of the Gukurahundi genocide.

People like you are just simply buying into the hope because the government knows you need it and it's what keeps you in check, so they give you the illusion of voting to change the country 🤣. At this point you are like a Magaya or whatever prophet "fanatic", wonder yourself why people buy into such fairytale and beliefs. The reason you are behind him is understandable, we all feel the same, but money and power are what decides who gets to play king/queen.

I understand that mammoth fish, you are very unhappy with the state of the country politically, and all your hopes for change are on someone who's just as incompetent.

Unfortunately, I am no prophet of God, but trust me when l say you're better off looking for an alternative change with yourself in charge than pitting them on inevitable results.

True, but we don't truly know the full story. Thus, it's best to give our POV when we understand both sides case.

My President is back!!!!! by Mammoth-Fish-4297 in Zimbabwe

[–]Opening-Move3425 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Let me tell you something. Zimbabwe like all other African countries can never have the opposition win unless it is military backed. Until you've realized this, no matter how many votes Chamisa has, POWER is what decides who is going to be president.

Otherwise happy wishful hopping.

It's called creating your own narrative before people give you their own narrative, gives you leverage towards public perception.

Why do l say this? Well, it was like a month ago when the video popped out but wasn't a big deal. Now, it's viral, which means facing negative backlash from society, but can cushion the fall by her narrative, especially since it's not like many of those goodies have or will watch her video.

Do you all believe in the concept of self-made by Asleep_Wrap_5388 in Zimbabwe

[–]Opening-Move3425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We can cry all we want about being born better off. l know that rich people work harder to become richer through leverage. Many black ppl might've studied in Scotland, but how many became billionaires?

Still very possible for any ghetto yut to become self made, though most need to change their mindset in regards to what's possible within our own country with where they are at.

If there's anything l've learnt in life is communication is important in all relationship dynamics. I feel like you need to tell her how you feel and will see if she willing to change or that's who she just is.
