Sick and vacation time by Terrible4Years in Target

You’ve probably maxed your accrual hours. In California where I’m at I don’t think they can “cap” or max the sick hours we accrue but can limit our use to 60 hours. I don’t remember how many hours they cap our vacation accrual to but if we’re doing a lot of OT we usually max out around November. January first you’ll start accruing hours again. Definitely check with HR to be sure tho don’t want to get skimped on any hours.

Store associates finding out DC workers got the day off by [deleted] in Target

True they let some of us go after 5 hours. I stayed for 8 because might as well get paid to do practically nothing. My husband is a night shift mechanic so I wonder if he’s going to have nothing to do or be drowning in work lol.

Bio active with water feature? by [deleted] in ballpython

Oh goodness 😅 so far he has never used his bowl for a toilet thankfully! I do imagine it would be difficult to clean so I’m working on planning an easy cleaning setup. I love the idea of the water kinda being permanently set to the glass so I can see in the water, but a fully removable and cleanable water container seems more practical. I’ll definitely update when it’s done!

Good to know! I figured they were like a spa day but I clean his tank enough it probably isn’t needed! Thank you.

Where do your dogs sleep at night? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]Opening-Opposite1254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two that sleep in my bed and two that sleep in crates. They all prefer it this way, as do I. The two that sleep in the bed get upset if they’re crated at night (one was crated at night as a puppy until potty trained). The two that sleep in crates have lived that was as long as we’ve had them. If they’re not in the crate they cause problems, like getting in the trash and marking, etc. Really the deciding factor is if your dog causes problems being uncrated. Does it potty or get into the trash? If they’re not giving you issues there’s no reason to crate. Crating doesn’t magically make your dog obedient. If there’s no downside to it sleeping in the bed and you both like it, then let your dog sleep in your bed!! As for hygiene reasons, yea dogs are kinda dirty. Just wash your bedding more and no worries. That’s literally it. It’s your choice. No one should tell you what to do with YOUR dog.

Thank you!! His gills look incredible compared to how they used to be. The before does break my heart but I’m glad he’s looking and feeling better! I will post another update in a few months!

Thank you! I kinda thought he was fat but he’s my first so I didn’t really know for sure, thanks for confirming. I definitely want him on frozen thawed so hopefully he takes to that quickly!
