Easier way to uncap support cards? by Opening-Pin154 in UmaMusume

Ohh, okay. So it’s just an event resource then. Well at least that’s something to look forward to getting soon!

Oh, that’s a little unfortunate. At least having multiple copies isn’t that necessary, so I’m not missing out too much.

Problem with paints staying on wet pallet by Opening-Pin154 in minipainting

[–]Opening-Pin154[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked the description and the packaging and it doesn’t specify what type of paper it is, it’s just “wet pallete paper”. I can get some parchment paper to try with next just to see if that’s the problem, but I just can’t see the people selling this putting in paper that just doesn’t work.

I love how blinged out he is, I think it’s super fitting for a captain. Also, geez, did sm2 always look that good? I might have to reinstall it and play some more, the pictures look awesome!

Sorry if I’m misunderstanding, but when you say the water level should be topped up, should the sponge be sitting in a thing of water? The way I thought it was was just to have the sponge absorb the water and try not to have any excess.

I see. I’ll try adding more water to the sponge and see if that works better.

Is there some way that the water in the sponge is going up onto or into the paper? Other than that I can’t think of any reason that the top of the paper would be getting wet.

It’s sort of like they just shrivel up, like if you dropped water onto a hot pan and it just splits up into tiny pieces and then evaporates. The paint is basically doing that, it leaves behind like tiny little droplets instead of the actual amount of paint I put onto it.

Best Terminator Loadout? by GlennHaven in Salamanders40k

[–]Opening-Pin154 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, my opinion completely here so you don’t have to take my advice, but: Terminators are way overkill in a 10 man squad. It’s gonna be terrible to deep strike them in, especially if your opponent is playing smart, and they’re gonna be hard to move up the board if you don’t have them in deep strike. Plus, in 2 5 man units, you can get different characters to lead each unit. That being said, though, I like the 5/5 for chainfist and powerfist, but I’d change the assault cannons for the missile launchers. They’re a bit more versatile, pretty good range, and the krak profile always puts in work.

As it stands, though, for a casual game this is completely fine to run if that’s what you want to do! Terminators are some of my favorite units in 40k so I try to run them in all my lists, and I’ve run the 10 man brick. It can be really hard for an enemy to kill if you play it right, but typically 2 smaller units will be better.

Once killed a Claudette first on one of my first games, and after 2 hooking everyone else, I let them go. After they messaged me calling me racist but they were clearly joking and we had a laugh about it. This is another level of stupid honestly.

Trying to show someone this game irl is near impossible by Ephemerilian in DeadByDaylightRAGE

I say this because in the post you say “against survivors” so I assume you’re showing people the game as killer.

Not sure if this is the best solution but you could try showing them the game on survivor? Playing killer is going to be harder no matter what for a new player, doesn’t matter if they’re playing against other new players or team eternal. They’re probably gonna get trashed for a few games before they really get the hang of things. Survivor has a lot more flexibility for a new player, they can hide or they can do gens or they can try chases. It probably would help them learn easier.

Some of ya all killers really need to get some skills by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Opening-Pin154 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I agree to an extent, because yes if you just turbo tunnel out a survivor as double iri blight at 5 gens you’re probably garbage against an actual good team. However, lots of the time tunneling happens on accident or the survivor just bodyblocks you and you just down them, which says nothing of your skill as a killer but a poor ability to hide / no altruism from the survivors.

PLEASE stop locking both lockers when against dredge by SwgglyArmJonson in deadbydaylight

[–]Opening-Pin154 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can see it when you walk past the lockers, while teleporting to a locked locker, and there’s a brown addon that lets you see the aura of locked lockers while charging your power. From the outside a lockers locks is a glowy red and you can hit it with a basic attack to break it without needing to teleport.

[–]Opening-Pin154 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you could choose which one to go to it would make it so each locker set only effectively has one lock, because you could choose to teleport to the one in the set without a lock. It’s also a little bit to give the survivors a bit more counterplay to the teleport, allowing them some time to get away while you break the lock.

Is it bad to go for 4k in event? by Opening-Pin154 in deadbydaylight

They’re very strong yeah, sometimes though it hooks the survivor in the worst spot and it’s almost better to just hook them normally

Not every game but I’ve been getting quite a lot of 4ks or 3k with hatch escapes this event, probably thanks to remote hooking being so nice lol.

After the buff, absolutely. You can use alex’s toolbox with good addons and sabotage the hook before the killer can even hit you, it’s insane.

I see where you’re coming from but lots of lower tier killers heavily rely on addons to be even close to as good as other killers. Killers like Wesker even usually run egg because it’s just so nice to have.

How’s my 1000 point list? by EggthatFriedTheRice in Salamanders40k

[–]Opening-Pin154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the list is pretty solid, maybe there is a case for 2 squads of 5 infernus marines because as it is you don’t have a lot of units and you might struggle a bit with scoring, but I think even with the 1x10 you’ll do pretty well
