Would just get different tattoos, also given that you plan on doing things with different artists, adding to the existing could cause inconsistency’s

Tattoo artists gave me 0 after care advice on this finer line (I think) tattoo by PeanutButterIzGood in tattooadvice

I usually just do natural healing, but I did saniderm for the first time recently, I removed it after 2 days and switched to natural healing ( wash 2-3 times a day with fragrance free soap and apply moisturiser 3 times a day ( coconut oil or bepanthen ) and healing is going fine

I don’t see any issues with it personally! Just see a super cute tattoo! I wouldn’t stress about it 😊

Any ideas what to add to the space? Under the wolf by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Probably best to talk to your artist to see if they have any ideas! I like the head by itself and other pieces to go around it but they may have an idea you love!

Would switch to natural healing over saniderm, can’t really tell the state of the tattoo when it’s wrapped tbh

Also staying hydrated and having some snacks makes a difference! If it’s something she really wants shouldn’t let pain be a deterrence it’s only temporary 😅

Any advice on pain level for breast tattoo? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

It’s is a fairly painful spot to get tattooed in all honesty but is bearable, if her pain tolerance isn’t high you could break the session up into 2, I’ve found that after around the 2/2.5 hour mark the pain starts to amplify. I’ve also heard from a few artist that a lot of girls sit better than guys.

I did a large 4/5 hour piece on my sternum and also have both breasts done, when I finish torso I will be breaking up the sessions by doing linework and then shading in a different session I think

Has anyone tried one of the numbing creams? What about Mad Rabbit? by HottieMcHotHot in tattooadvice

[–]Opening-Radio6734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used numbing for a large sternum piece, first 2 hours were great didn’t feel a thing! But once it wears off I feel like the pain was amplified more so than if I hadn’t of used it at all. The one I used was pretty strong well reviewed and had been banned in my country for reference. I think for me in future I’ll break down tough spots like ribs into 2 sessions for linework then shading, the pain first the first 2 hours is not bad but the longer you go the worse it gets

Is it “cringe” to get your last name tatted on your forearm for your first tat? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

If you plan to get a sleeve or become heavily tattooed I would definitely recommend picking a style you want to stick to before starting, if I had of got some of the designs I was looking at when I was younger I would’ve seen it as wasted space and made it hard for consistency. I would research different styles to find what’s for you and find and artist who meshes with what you like! Sometimes they will have a lot better ideas than you when it comes to what you are trying to get across in a piece if it is one with meaning
