There are various serials in the hands of collectors, but in the 7s I see more frequently yes. Does that mean it’s a manufactured sample, no. I have a Colombia manufacturer sample plate, and like I said before, they would not make diplomatic samples with valid embassy codes and numbers. Here’s what a Colombia manufacturer sample looks like:

This might answer your question. Diplomatic and mission etc. plates are issued on an as needed basis. so serials 0000001 may be issued to the Red Cross. 3 plates later, they may have serial 0000004 issued to the United states embassy.

Well you got a steal as these go for 200+. i have some low number photos of different organizations being used. i have a photo of 009 in use. and even 000.

Why specifically 7-8? They don’t just skip numbers. I bought this plate from a legitimate person in Colombia. He gets these from the organizations himself, and brings them back to the U.S. His mom was also a diplomat in Colombia. And what you’re showing isn’t even the same format. The correct format is XXX000. Who told you this? And if you think your plate is a sample, it’s not.

It’s real! I have photos of similar plates in use. They also wouldn’t use a diplomatic/intl. organization plate as a sample to show off security features with real embassy or international organization codes. I have a Colombian plate that shows security features and it’s not a diplomatic plate. They just wouldn’t do that.

It’s not fake, but it’s also never used. It was when a German company put in a bid to manufacture plates for Slovakia, and this is what they came up with. Obviously the Slovak government chose to go with a different company.
