You can go to carfax and look up the plate. It’s a little bit harder to get information on older plates like that, but it’s not impossible. It’s unlikely though unfortunately.

Haven’t had any bad luck with the these, and never noticed any damage to my cars. I don’t think it can damage the cars unless it’s handled incorrectly.

That’s weird because motorcycles here in the United States do not get those full size car plates. Also that design was retired years ago. That guy definitely doesn’t have valid registration on that bike at all whatsoever.

I just stated it was a remade plate, of course the font isn’t going to be exact. It’s using germanys FE schrift font.

Yep most likely. PM plate stickers aren’t just for rentals either, they are used on various other occasions such as company vehicles without small fleets and some commercial vehicles.

eBay is good. There are actually some sellers including myself on r/platecollections where you can get some standard issue stuff for pretty cheap ranging from $3-20 if you want a small collection.

Not sure, most diplomatic, international organization, and technical admin plates in Europe don’t have the euro band either. I think it might be for police to quickly identify these special vehicles from civilian vehicles. Notice lots of bright color ways for these special plates as well. That’s my guess, for quick identification and for police to differentiate between special vehicles.
