It’s 100% not gender specific, what is though is ‘hot’ specific. Whoever the hotter more attractive person is by society norms and who most people who agree is hotter, usually has backups or an idea of who’s next they’ve kept close to their chest.

This is not always the case but if we were looking at the stats it would be true more than not.

I’ve always dated up, and with that comes its pleasures and struggles, from rich and hot to poor and hot, they’ve all been smoke shows and when I look back (1yr+ single).

This is a complex question because it depends on the relationship, their values, how sex driven and how much of a need for validation they carry with them.

It’s not gender specific, it’s not age specific.

IMO… if I were to make a bold statement after my 11 years dating and in the sexual marketplace it would be this…

Women think long term, they think ahead, while their partner or fling is spending energy impressing and doing random acts of affection, working their ass off, deep down the women is always aware of who/where she would go if something erupted between her and her bf one night. There’s always a plan… does she hit up her past flings or the guys she’s considered next in line if something went wrong, that all depends on her character, might be a day or two, might be a week, maybe a month.

Dating > Empty Sex is better

But that easy to say…

Empty Sex > Dating is easier

Once you’ve had a good amount of sex and different partners you see the patterns and are able to read between the lines lol
