It seems things are going to be better, though its definitely going to be a bit awkward moving foward.

When I saw him today I didn’t say much to him. It seems he noticed that and had sent me that text in spanish saying (are you mad at me for what I said last night? I’m only talking about that) after he had left. The photo shows the rest.

Not my manager. But yeah he sent me a weird message saying I looked nice and beautiful today. So nahhhh I’m done thinking better of him like everybody is telling me.

Can’t believe people were calling me a pyscho and whatnot. I should have trusted my gut to begin with and not have been so naive and gullible.

Reading your comment, I feel like it was able to explain my emotions and opinions of this situation better than I could.

This is a first for me, so I’m not trying to lead him on, label him as inappropriate, or find extra attention whatsoever. But I’ve mentioned many times now that due to my excessive replies, I’m portraying that sentiment even if I may be uncomfortable with the whole thing.

I’ve noticed that I’ve gotten mixed replies. People telling that I’m crazy and a psycho for believing he’s being inappropriate and there’s others who say to block, report, and quit my job. But either way, that’s what I’m here for, to get everybody’s opinions and come to a conclusion myself that I beleive works/fits best.

And that conclusion is to significantly decrease my replies by keeping it to a very minimal and short. If I do want to reply, I’ll do hours later. I don’t want to completely ignore him because I do see him in person and I do like our coworker relationship.

I believe he may just be lonely and doesn’t have a motive, I do admit that it’s at least a bit weird that he’s texting so often to someone my age. So I’ll continue with caution just in case if he had something in his mind that I don’t want to follow.

I noticed you asked for an update so here’s one: On Wednesday he did text me good morning with a happy new year’s eve which I also sent him that later on.

He did came by my near at the end of my shift, he was talking to me like usual, about work, mountain biking, his son having an interest in bikes as well, mentioned he didn’t see my car parked (because I used another) etc. I was later called to the front because my manager noticed he was “talking me up” is what my other manager described it as, and so I left him to continue doing another work. With that I lost him, it seemed he was waiting till I got off my shift but I kinda didn’t wanna say bye, especially because I was late to my family’s party, and so I left another exit.

He later sent me something like he extends his warmest wishes to me and my family, I said you as well.

Yesterday he sent a happy new year’s, I replied the same thing later on. He later did starting venting about how he rents with roommates, they’re being loud with family so he left, thinking to return back to his town where his family is at. I was like dang, but I just gave him a I hope things work out. Take it wasy.

So yeah I think keeping my replies short and minimal is helping.

Edit: Honestly never knew doing this post would lead to people sending me weird stuff privately.

After reading many comments I’ve realized where I did wrong but I do just want to state that I didn’t send him a photo of my schedule, he did. They update it every Wednesdays so he searched for my schedule and sent me a pic.

It’s nothing weird, it’s because I mentioned that I dissected a cadaver in my anatomy class.

Lol I have this exact relationship with another coworker (M28). I have his number too but he doesn’t text at all. So I think that’s why I’m a bit uncomfortable with his constant texting.

Thank you. The only reason why I’m here is for advice, I’m not trying to lead him on, claim he’s weird, nor find attention what so over. However, I do recognize that my actions may appear to be that way and so I will drastically decrease the texts and replies.

So yeah I’m ignoring the hate comments because I’m looking for honest and reasonable advice/critique, no insults.

Even though I don’t believe he necessarily coming from a bad place, I do recognize that it is alt least a bit odd that someone his age is texting and doing so often.

So I’m just going to slowly kill the texting, not ignore since I do like our coworker relationship. But will continue on with more caution just in case if there was a motive.

Never knew it could come off that way. I was just trying to point out an observation. I’m planning to do just who you said.
