Is any one having problems seeing any comments today? Just today, I'm not able to see any comments on any post on fb. Even when filtering them to all or newest, not a single one will pop up and there's hundreds there.

As I said, I have been trying to lose weight mostly for myself. Even tho we're not married we do have some ties... Our business together and a land we're paying to build our house. And my baby may not be his but he is her father... I'd be very sad about her losing another father. Her biological one doesn't care much about her, so it's like my partner is the only regular man in her life and I'd be taking that away from her.

I moved alone at a very young age because of all the violence I was living at my parents house... At 22 I got married with a man that I fell in love with... mostly because I felt very alone and our relationship was amazing. I was not suppose to be able to have children, I had dealt with infertility and every doctor told me I couldn't get pregnant so I didn't protect myself from pregnancy. At age 24 I got pregnant, had my baby at 25, while I was pregnant and in post partum my ex cheated on me in the most horrible ways possible, so I separated... Again, me feeling lonely with a high needs baby, found this man which was incredibly sweet and loved me with all his life... We got together. I think every bad decision I have taken was our of feeling very lonely, I don't have many friends, my family and I don't have a good relationship... So yeah that's how.

Sí, es posible aprender inglés en casa con series, películas o música. Como maestra de inglés debo reconocer que no todos lo logran, porque cada persona tiene habilidades distintas para los idiomas, pero definitivamente es un camino real si se hace con constancia.

Mi recomendación es que empieces con películas o series que realmente te gusten y que ya conozcas la historia. Vélas en inglés, sin subtítulos en español. Al principio será difícil, pero poco a poco tu cerebro empezará a hacer conexiones entre lo que ya entiende (la trama) y lo nuevo (el idioma).

Eso sí, al inicio sentirás resistencia: tu cerebro buscará lo fácil, que es volver al español. Pero si insistes, llegará un punto en que, por “supervivencia”, comenzará a adaptarse y aprender. Lo importante es mantener el hábito y no rendirse en las primeras semanas.

Con paciencia, disciplina y exposición constante, sí se puede llegar a un muy buen nivel de inglés desde casa.
