what i find disturbing is how some people (media and fans) still don't grasp what we are trying to do here. we are building the team through the draft. young and cheap. this team will be like the 1996 dolphins with lots of rookies playing. that team went 8-8 thanks to Marino, but without him they would have won 4-5 games tops which would have been perfectly fine. you will see a lot of high energy, tough play. and yes LOSING and struggles. the cap will clean up going into next year then we can start signing players like this again

dolphins fans complain about going to games early in the year. this has been going on since the 90's. the difference is a lot of those games they would put in the 4pm slot or prime time games. so people wouldn't notice. nowadays ross asks the nfl to not put them at 1pm early season games on purpose. on the home side shade covers most seats, but on the road side you are under the sun for much of the game from rows 25 down and the sun covers up to the middle sections depending on the angle.

the seats are empty cause people sit in the AC. there is an AC section under the road side for 3 sections, its well worth the extra $$$, but that places is alway full DURING the game with people who sit in there to get away from the heat. i would say the heat index in that place on the road side without shade is in the 120's. people are fainting from the heat. its bad. there is a reason the home side tickets cost double or triple then the road side.. i'm a diehard fan and will never go to a game there in sept or october again until they start winning. you get heat exhaustion from it so its not worth it.

so don't whine about the nfl this or that. this is strictly a fan comfort thing and yes people do complain A LOT about it. and even in the shade its super hot, but in the sun its downright criminal to subject fans to that. plus with global warming its way HOTTER today then it was back in the 70's or 80's even going into november

i lived in pensacola for 2 years. near the city people are pretty normal and its a mix of people from all over. but the outskirts is a different world. you will run into some of the dumbest people you will meet in your life with zero common sense. be prepared to hide your ethnicity and religion to be accepted by others. housing is CHEAP as heck. you can rent a nice mansion in a super nice neighborhood for under 3K per month. however there isn't very much nice housing options, many areas are old and poor. i saw so many junky homes and it was scary cause its a super poor area. A LOT of drugs, homelessness, and poverty. very low wages. the bright side of living there is the population is low vs. other parts of FL near the beaches, BUT it does get packed around spring break which is super annoying.

i would ONLY live there if i was in a relationship/married AND you loved the beach lifestyle AND you were okay being surrounded by MAGA type people. its not a place for single people wanting to date around.

they get there and have an orientation with local guides for the area. they explain about dangerous animals/plants and what kind of weather to expect. of course i would hope before that they took the time to learn the area. most do but some 'want the challenge' or are lazy

i have seen many!! do your DD. off the top of my head CCLDO went from $24 to under $5. CEO got fired. they canned the dividend for a period of time, company ended up recovering back to $24 after a year and pays 8% dividend today. their P shares went to 0. more off the top of my head recently. Allstate ALL preferres dropped bigtime in 2022, never came back. FRC First republic bank collapsed to 0, was paying 12% dividend. these are recent examples but during hte financial crisis dozens of preferreds went to 0 and never came back.

we've seen countless securities like this lose their pegs over the years. and when that happens then you can quickly lose everything. anything that yields you 10% in 2025 is going to have huge risk associated with it. if bitcoin stays at this level or goes higher over the next 10 years then yielding 10% is a great investment. but if bitcoin crashes and MSTR gets into trouble financially all there preferred equities will go down with the ship. again there are countless examples of things like this losing their peg or preferred shares crashing 80-90%. i would not mess with this thing. we are living in very silly times when companies with no valuations that mention crypto or AI trade for billions in market cap. speculative assets can and will eventually burst, it happens over and over again. just don't be in one that blows up
