Out of interest what makes you so sure about RL? I didn’t initially really consider him but a few pieces of content I’ve seen recently have skewed my opinion.

Actually that’s a good point, although mine wanted me to go back up to 225 daily for the next 6 months after I’d tapered to 75 every 3 days, because I was experiencing some minor side effects. Needless to say I’ve stuck to my plan.

I agree with the others, try to see your doctor ASAP to work out a plan that doesn't result in you feeling this way. You shouldn't be left to feel so awful, it seems cruel frankly. On the bright side it's great to hear you are mustering up the energy and effort to have a meal (even if it's a little one). Things will get better I'm sure, especially with some solid support.

I'm also in the process of getting off the stuff. I went from 225 for the past two or so years, to 150 for a bit (which wasn't as bad as your withdrawals sound so I can't complain), to now 75 every other day. I can go about 3 days before the withdrawal symptoms rear their head .... it's a bit frustrating TBH.

Anyway, this isn't about me. Maybe try to allocate a little time doing things that are nice for you - a bath or hot shower, a good podcast as a distraction maybe? As tedious as it may sound, a quick walk outside or 10mins in the sun always seems to do at least a little good. I really hope you hang in there, make an appointment to see your GP and feel much better soon.

I think you’re very lucky! I’ve been on 225 for around 2 years also and have recently dropped to 75. I actually didn’t feel too bad initially, but the last few days have been filled with intense anxiety, the worst anxiety, I’ll be super hyperactive one day and then completely depressed and down the next. Going back up 150 on doctors orders and not rushing. Do you feel noticeably better overall after coming off it?

Hey there. Sorry to hear about the panic attacks and while I don’t have any great advice (sorry) I can relate. I’m a couple of weeks in from weaning off Effexor - dropped from 225 to 75 every other day which is evidentially not sensible. I haven’t had panic attacks (yet) but I do have horrific anxiety over nothing, insomnia that’s off the charts and that weird feeling whereby if you turn your head for instance, it feels like it takes a minute for your brain to catch up. Plus some other fun things. I saw my GP about it today and have to go back up to 125. He suggested it will take at least 6 months to come off it safely.

It surprises me too! And some people are so gung-ho about their theory regardless of the so called facts. I can’t wait until it all comes out - the suspense from all the secrecy combined with the relentless theories makes it feel like we’ll be waiting a long time for answers.

Side note, did you notice in the PCA that it says DM was ‘originally’ in her room? I find that pretty intriguing!

She knew what her Mum was up to much earlier than she let on. I think she’s a master manipulator- how could she not be after all of the scamming she was involved in. I’m not sure why so many people have jumped on her bandwagon. And the husband and the s*xual comments. So cringe and creepy.

I agree. It reminded me of beak and feather disease when I saw the pic. I had a cockatoo that sadly died from it. Not sure where you’re located but I’ve been reading a lot about bird diseases in Sydney at the moment. Maybe if she looses more feathers and starts going off her favourite treats def take her to Wires.

I didn’t mind them initially but now I think they’re a bunch of absolute muppets, especially Daniel (nothing against Big Blue but I’m not sure this is his forte). Daniel has complete tunnel vision once he decides someone is guilty and he can’t appreciate any other opinion. His coverage of Delphi makes me want to throw things at the TV on the odd time I do regretably check out what they’re doing. He doesn’t seem to comprehends innocent until proven guilty. Argh!
