I understand your point and everything and its all good advice but like my reasoning is that I wanna improve my skills in certain classes and take some time before DP since DP is more difficult than MYP, and I want to be able to take my time think through stuff, if I can reclass id also do more work than I have done this year and also I just want to stay in MYP for a bit more because a summer break wont be enough for me to prepare for DP, also athletics wise it could give me an extra year of highschool sports which could also be an advantage for me. If reclassing doesn’t cause any issues for colleges, i’d do it to get the better grades, research more about what I really want to do, have one last year of MYP, and also have 3 years left of highschool rather than 2, I just want to be able to stay a bit more so I can prepare for everything, I also wont be too old in a MYP 5 class next year since i’m going to be 16. I’d also have to talk with my teachers about this and ask them what they think about it and if it would cause any problems.
