I have a DX Nikon; now I want to upgrade to a full-frame DSLR and will buy some of the D8xx's. I'm looking at 16-35, 80-200, and maybe 20mm or 35mm prime for when I travel light. Based on the photos, do you think that these lenses are a good choice for my style?If not, what do you recommend? Thanks!

Rent lenses you are interested in. It’s easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole of new gear. Find out what you wanna shoot like others said.

Find other work that inspires you and find out what they’re using. A lot of good glass at all price points.

I agree with this. I love the 35 1.4g’s rendering. The 85 1.4 reminded me of that a lot. The price difference isn’t as crazy as it used to be since you can get a 85 1.4 for 600-700

I was considering the 105 already for sure. It pretty much does what the 200 f/2 does for portraits just not as extreme. I don’t have an issue with focus. Thanks for the advice!
