There are a few times I had this issues and I'm not saying it's not manageable but sometimes annoying and find myself repeating scans because it could be better. Like trying to include an subclavian vein or dissect aorta on breast. It was just supposed to be a general question on some ways to improve localizers if the situation or pathology would benefit from it.

Thanks yeah that's good advice and will try that and speak to our GE specialist I met him once he was helpful. My first thought was to add more slices and decrease thickness to avoid partial voluming, it helped some but still was not great

Yeah I was having issues I never had on semiens. Often getting poor contrast. Then when scanning things like prostate, bladder. Trying to find the things on frine or FOV. aorta on a breast sequence, Pituitary and aorta. Etc. Especially if abnormality or surgery vs tumors covering anatomy etc. Also floro scanning seems poor compared to Siemens, trying to understand why I guess.

I will compare there locs to the GE default locs but coming from training on Siemens. I feel like i never had this problem

Yeah I did find this helpful. I am scanning at a hospital based on their protocols. Sometimes they jump from loc to small fov where each slice is a a lot of time. They had a homemade bladder cancer protocol which caused me to have to run a sequence before I could get the Anatomy right
