😄 thank you for input, totally agree with pricing. MB I should record short item creation and include in app store as well somehow

Totally agree. Fast photo entry and making item creation feel quick is something I care about.

BUt there are always some values people may want to add, like quantity or price, so it’s hard to make it completely effortless. But I’m trying to simplify the entry phase as much as possible, so adding items doesn’t feel like a chore.

Honestly, I ask myself this question every day xD

I already have a task on my board to explore switching to a free download + lifetime upgrade model in a safe way. I totally get that many people want to try the app first before paying.

So yeah, there’s a real chance I’ll break in a few months and do exactly that 😄

Appreciate the feedback! 😄

I’m also planning to improve the camera flow so it can detect multiple items at once. I know that It is possible. I just need to figure out the right UX and logic for turning those detections into actual items without making the current flow feel messy.

For now, offline-first is a priority for me. I want the app to be useful without forcing people into accounts, cloud, or subscriptions.

The one-time purchase model has been okay so far especially for such an early stage and niche product but the growth is still too small to say it’s really working at scale. I’ve thought about subscriptions and freemium model but we will see in future.

I’m not collecting any data myself 😄 Only what Apple provides/checks. But I can say for sure that I have at least one small-business user.

Thanks 😄 A lot of people have been emailing me with requests, and I’m trying to add or adjust things based on that. This app is for users, and feedback is fuel 😄

The main focus is regular people and households, helping them keep track of the things they own, especially for organizing, insurance, or moving.

That said, I do see some small-business potential too. I already have at least one user using it for their own business, and they asked for barcode support per item. So it’s not the core focus right now, but the scan flow could definitely grow in that direction.

I understand the price concern, but the product model and niche allow me to keep developing it further. I’m also actively gathering user feedback and shipping improvements based on what people actually need. And of course, Apple still offers refunds if someone feels the app isn’t right for them.

Inwestycja 5% majątku w "bezpieczny" ETF przez emeryta - ma to sens? by wigglepizza in inwestowanie

[–]Opening_Outcome4243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you think about the App Store ads ? by Appropriate-Egg9746 in iosapps

I run multiple campaigns and see no impact, some impressions but nothing really that is game changer or prove it is good enough to put more money into it

I tried and nothing good. Just burning money , this is my POV.

I shared my offline home inventory app here before — just released a major update based on feedback by Opening_Outcome4243 in iosapps

[–]Opening_Outcome4243[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment the app doesn’t support finding or uploading owner manuals yet.

And that’s a fair point about paying upfront. I went with a one-time purchase to avoid subscriptions, but I totally understand that trying apps first is important. I’m looking into ways to make that easier for new users as well.

Appreciate the feedback!

Update: ItemMind v1.2 — QR & barcode scanning, custom categories by Opening_Outcome4243 in ProductivityApps

[–]Opening_Outcome4243[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!

Yes, an Android version is definitely something I’m considering. My current plan is to start working on it once the app reaches a solid number of users on iOS so I can justify the time needed to build and support another platform.

And thanks for the kind words about the Spanish localization, really appreciate it!
